excelent serviceI been to the reef a coup;e of times and ther service is verry good. expecially the bartender his really nice and makes delicious drinks. I love going for happy hours because the prices for the drinks are great and the appetycers are good.
Everyone is nice and they take care of you, i realy recomend it is a great place to go and relax whille u drink and enjoy the wonderful view.OVERALL

We Loved our experience!It was my birthday and I was looking for a good brunch.I was on line for the Reef Restaurant and read the comments about there brunch so I decided to try it. My family and I were so happy and everyone was right...Augie is the man!!! We had so much fun and the food was great. What a selection of food! Augie entertain and made us laugh. A Sunday Brunch without Augie just isn't a Sunday Brunch!!!In the late 90s, I was told that there was a server named Augie at The Reef that made Sunday Brunch a REAL treat. At this time, I was enjoying brunches all around Long Beach and the South Bay, particularly the Hyatt Regency in Long Beach.
Being open to new brunches, I tried The Reef and requested AUGIE.

The Worst ServiceHad my cousin wedding a week ago,it was one of the worst wedding reception I had experienced. the service was awful, the service at home town buffet is a lot better than this place, for the amount they had paid to have a wedding reception at the reef is not even worth it. change your managementOVERALL

Don't go, save your $$ and eat anywhere else in LBI lived in Long Beach for years and did not patronize this establishment until moving to OC. Now I know why, a wonderful view spoiled by awful decor, average & overpriced food, and poor service...really poor service (save for the friendly and efficient hostesses).

It was wonderfulWe have eaten at the Reef a few times, including their Sunday brunch. The food is always great. The company where I work has had their Christmas parties here for a few years, and I even had my wedding here. I couldn't have had a more enjoyable experience. It's absolutely wonderfulThe first time I went to the Reef was as a graduation gift from my cousin. I had never heard of the place before. There is a waiter there by the name of Augie, he is absolutely hillarious and extremely comical. I really enjoyed myself. My fiance has never been there and that was the first place that came to mind as a Father's Day gift. I know he will like as much as I do, if not more.1 of 1 Yahoo! Augie as a server is a must for SUNDAY BRUNCHI LOVE Sunday Brunch at the REEF. You must sit in Augie's section when you go. He is AMAZING and will create an unforgetable experience. When you make your reservation you must request Augie's section at that time. If they tell you no you must ask to speak to the manager and tell him you will only come in if you can sit in his section. He will amaze you.
