this is a small precious winery with fantastic wine. if anyone is ever in the San Diego area just take a small detour to Escondido, you will not regret it. The wine is almost as wonderful as the gentelman who helps in the shop.

Some of the wines are terrific, a few are tanninny. The dessert wines are to DIE FOR! The prices, awesome, and the proprietor! Well she was more than occomidating. It was a vacation to remember. I am telling all of my friends! What a TRIP! Loved it!

We think the iurgundy is a great value, and it is good tasting, too. We always stop by on our way north. It is a family tradition.

My husband and I are Ferraras!!!! We went to the winery about 15 years ago. We had a great time talking about Ferraras. We will go back again!!!!

This is a nice family owned winery which has some lovely wines. They have a tour and free tasting. We would suggest touring in the fall when you can see more of the process.

WE loved this pace. WE knew nothing about wine and we had just visited the Orfila winery just down the road. It wan't bad, but we couldn't halp but feel that it was a little too trendy, and was trying to be a little too cool. Ferrara was none of these things. They were a quiet, old winery that had a lot of implements that they used to ...

What a wonderful winery to go to. The wines are wonderful and the family is great! My 3 year old son loves going there and I've been taking him since he was a newborn. His favorite juice comes from that winery. A winery you must visit!

They have varietals you will not find elsewhere. They generously sample their wines ... and as you compare, you are likely to agree with us ... Ferrara has at least one wine for every palate. What a treasure!

As wineries take on more and more of an "attitude", it is so refreshing to find real people, as are the Ferrara family ... ...

I was married to my beautiful husband at the Ferrara Winery in July of 2004. What a loving and charasmatic family they are. The true history of Escondido still thrives through this wonderful winery. And what yummy wines they have & COMPLIMENTRY TASTINGS! Oh my! Thank you Ferrara Family! We love you all!
