Quiet cozy bar, friendly staff, great food and music. Loved the Ahi Tuna and Rack of Lamb. Our appetizers Thai Calamari and the Crab Cakes were terrific...especially the Dijon Beurre Blanc sauce served with the Crab Cakes. Dessert was a Chocolate Souffle; the wait was 20 minutes for it..but well worth it. So if ordering this, order before you finish dinner! Try one of their delicious Ports with this souffle. Oh, there is a kids menu too!

The ambiance is so warm and friendly that we have established it as our "Date Place". That was before we even ate our meals. The food is delicious and service is spectacular. There is nothing to dislike. The ambiance is unsurpassed offering a feeling of warmth. The quality and presentation of the food is the best in Escondido. Chef Kent Daigle does a masterful job in fusing spices and sauces creating his magic with foods. The Caribbean Swordfish and the Tamarind Tuna (#1Ahi) are examples of his creativity.
You must have a Flambe for dessert prepared tableside.
