Cafe Sarafornia was very disappointing. The prices were quite high...over $10 for a salad! My simple hamburger came with practically raw meat. It was disgusting. I sent it back and it ended up taking so long to get it fixed, I gave up on eating lunch. The atmosphere is quaint, but the food and service left a lot to be desired. I will avoid in the future.
While staying in Calistoga we found the Cafe Sarafornia when in search of a place to have a hearty breakfast. The cafe is a busy, lively littl diner. The food is varied, with a spanish flair; and is served with a smile! Good food and service puts this cafe on a short list of places to re-visit when we (hopefully) return to Calistoga.
