  • Not that good
    By Rebecca, 05/13/07
I couldn't wait to go to California Adventure. As soon as I walked in though, I noticed right away it lacked the charm that Disneyland has. Other than about 3 rides that I enjoyed, the rest of it was quite boring. I agree with the person that said if you love the original Disney parks, you will be disappointed in the atmosphere here. I think Disney could have made something much better here.

  • Our First visit
    By Lorraine, 05/10/07
This was our first visit to California Adventure. It was great. Loved the park and the Aladdin Show was AWESOME. It was also great to see the Electric Light Parade again after so many years. We also enjoyed the interaction with Stitch - he was hilarious.

  • Great place!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/15/07
The atmosphere is great! The rides are a little more thrilling than Disneyland's and is great for class trips and visitors from out of town. You should definitely visit and put Disneyland and DCA on the top of your lists!

Great foods all around, Great music and shows,And the rides are pretty good I think they need more rides for smaller kids. The shopping is great and the sun is always nice.

  • A great companion park to Disneyland.
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/03/07
This park really grows on you. My first visit about a month after the park opened was nehative. Not much was there, and the only good area was the pier. Now, the park has more great attractions and I can also appreciate the wonderful atmosphere. Here's an area by area review.

  • What was Disney thinking?
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/02/07
You know, if Disney is going to build a new park right across from THE original...it had better be a huge "WOW"! I went last week for the first time and boy, was I underwhelmed. If you don't expect much...then you might have a good time. But if you are a lover of other Disney parks, then you will probably not like this place. It lacks ...

  • Give California Adventure a chance!
    By Ron G, 02/12/07
People may think that California Adventure is a competition place with Disneyland, or that it's supposed to be better than Disneyland. Well it's not, and I don't think that anyone intended it to be. California Adventure is basically an add on to Disneyland, but with a different feel to the park. It sorta has that beach boardwalk look ...

  • prefered Disneyland
    By Hassan, 01/02/07
We prefered Disneyland, but I think older kids would like it here. The Muppets show was quite nice (same movie theatre as in the weekly shows I watched growing up).

  • Great fun
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/30/06
A wonderful complement to Disneyland Park. With bigger walkways and more space it accomodates a larger crowd. Tower of Terror and Monsters, Inc. are really fun additions to DCA. Theming is wonderful, as in DL.
And in DCA guests can have dinner and wine while watching a parade.
I just wish it stayed open as late as DL.
