Great sports facilityWe went there to watch the men play indoor soccer. They have seating upstairs above the soccer "field" and you can also buy drinks and snacks at their bar.
We were impressed, and watching the soccer was fun too!OVERALL

Not worth it!I went to the Bladium to try it out last month and the customer service was aweful!
I toured the facility w/ Chase and she only wanted to help me out if i provided her my credit card information! I finally paid the guest fee to try it out and everything she mentioned on the tour I wasn't able to do? I tried to shoot around on the basketball ...SHOW FULL REVIEW

BLADIUM-WRONG CHOICE!!!I have lived in the city of Alameda for 8 years and have been a member of several fitness/health clubs in the past. I joined Bladium because it was close to my work. great for single parentsDavid (one of the owners) and Dawn (child sports coordinator) have been very receptive to any ideas I have in order to improve the free sports program for older kids. One stop shopIf you're looking for a gym that offers an opportunity to do so much more, try the bladium...soccer, hockey, bastketball, volleyball, rock climbing, batting cage, lacrosse...can't beat it, prices are reasonable and there is a bar for friends to hang out at and watch you play hockey/basketball/volleyball/soccer.You have found this review helpful.2 of 2 Yahoo! Don't waste your timee or money on BladiumIt was a dumpy. There was no wheel chair accessability. The weight room was small. The aerobics room was small. Not a good fitness schedule.It seemed as if the fitness was just an after thought.
In the summer Bladium is too hot and in the winter it is freezing.

Excellent Sports and Fitness CenterI was a member back when Bladium was in San Francisco, and it was just an in-line hockey club. With the move to Alameda, Bladium is completely reborn into a full-fledged sports and fitness facility. The indoor soccer and rock climbing areas are incredible.
