The beauty of Petit Jean Mountain is breath taking. From the view of the Arkansas River atop the mountain, to Cedar Falls Outlook, to the valley at Mather Lodge it is ALL absolutely beautiful. We hiked all day and topped it off with a dip in the huge pool. It was the best vacation we've had in years.
We met several locals who were very nice and made us feel right at home. We'll be back!

I love Petit Jean. Great view and excellent calming atmosphere. Definitely something everyone needs to see. I was suprised I was still in Arkansas! We visit Petit Jean frequently. We stay at a place in Russellville called Park Motel, which has a good reputation for cleanliness in the town. Petit Jean is accessible from Russellville.
