We loved our visit to the mill. The food was great. The gift shop even greater and the scenery was wonderful. It was so restful and relaxing. The security guard/ tour guide was wonderful. I can't wait to go back. We ate the breakfast, served on the first floor since my husband is in a wheelchair, and it was a true delight. Everyone swears they have the greatest beans and cornbread and its on my list for the next trip.

I was raised in a family that never went on vacation. Now in my 40's with a family of my own, that is all I want to do. Eureka Srings is our home away from home and War Eagle is a must stop every time. We have taken our time and walked everywhere. I highley recomend taking a stroll in the river. (wear water shoes on the rock bottom) Listen to the history and keep it looking nice, we plan on "going home" again real soon.

If you happen to be driving by (probably on the way to War Eagle Cavern) the mill is well worth a stop. The working grist mill part is interesting and they have a quant gift shop (the honey is excellent). The restaurant provides sustinence but little else and I suggest making plans to eat elsewhere.
