  • So beautiful
    By Amy, 09/11/09
I didn't really know what to expect, considering my husband and I took our 2 year old son. He loved to see the fish and crayfish in all of the ponds. It was absolutely beautiful. All of the water features were man-made but looked like they'd always been there - so natural. Make sure you wear good hiking shoes, though. It does have some hills.

  • Beautiful to see!
    By SandraP, 07/13/08
The gardens are truly beautiful. The main waterfall is spectacular, so you will come away with some great family pictures. Our walk through the gardens was interrupted by rain. The friendly folks cheerfully issued rain checks or refunds with absolutely no problems whatsoever.

I am a newlywed and we went to hotsprings for our honeymoon. Garvan Gardens was absolutely beautiful. It was 210 acres of absolutley beautiful bliss that the students of the University of Arkansas planted. We took lots of pictures and the huge gold fish were so cool!

I have been to places like wichita and for a town that size they have 10 acres of a pitiful guarden, but here they have 250 acres of the most wonderful gardens I have ever seen. If you are in town dont miss this in the spring especially. as you walk the park people are painting seanery and feeding the ducks. or sitting by a water fall. super way to spend a day.

The gardens are awesome. It is just beautiful and you feel refreshed and inspired after leaving. I can't wait to go back. Me and my husband went in May. However most of the flowers had already died it was still wonderful. We are thinking about going in March of 2007 and hopefully see some flowers.

    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/10/06
Our family went this past summer to Garvan Gardens and we LOVED it! It was so beautiful to walk around in. The trails were nice. There were main trails then smaller trails off of those. The kids found it adventurous! . We kept thinking that if it were this attractive in the summer after everything was out of bloom, we could hardly imagine how ...

  • Beautiful
    By CeCe Marie, 08/23/06
An extremely beautiful place. A little lacking in flowers, but maybe that's just because of the time of the year. The running water and many rocks and trees reminded me very much of Estes Park, Colorado's motel the Ponderosa (a wonderful place to stay), and their little stream. These gardens were lovely, and the brand new chapel was exceptional as well!
