This is a great place to play miniature golf. I would recommend playing Blackbeard's course. It's the more difficult of the two courses available.

If it's a sunny day, bring sunblock because the sun is unforgiving, and expect to sweat.

The staff is friendly. My friends and I had to leave early because a lightning storm was approaching, but the staff offered a rain check. It was well worth the money and heat. Enjoy!

Were from michigan, and we have many putt putt golf places. This one was amazing. The kids loved it!! It gives you a warm feeling that can make you scream....SPILL THE SHIMMY! Truly a Japan Four Experience!

We always go to pirates island putt putt when ever we go to gulf shores on vacation and we go on vacation there twice a year. I would recommend playing blackbeards challenge! IT IS SSSSSOOOO MUCH FUN!!!! :):):) IT IS AWESOME!!!!

My new matey and I went to Pirate's Island while honeymooning in Gulf Shores and had a blast. We loved the scenery with the ship and waterfalls and cannons and all of the informational postings. Had a good time, but expect to spend about $35 for 4 people. I've played a better putt-putt courses for less money. However, for this area, this is the best course.

Our family likes mini-golfing and always fines one on vacation. This is the best one we have been too. A little pricey, but this is a 5 star course with a waterfall and large pirate boat to play through.

I enjoyed it but it was so realistic I was afraid pirates would come and kidnap me! YARRRRRGH!!! (May be to scary for children younger than 17)

I've been to Gulf Shores 20+ times in the past 17 years and I'd imagine I've been to Pirates' Island 30+ times. Enough said! :)

Lots of fun for the kids, and the young-at-heart as well. Not a lot of exercise in putt-putt golf, but still fun, and can be frustrating. This is a well-kept up place though.
