There will be local opposition, since the site has poor subsurface geology for siting a landfill and the current landfill appears not to be performing well, based on abnormal subsurface drainage in the landfill vicinity.

Beautifully set in the foothills and beside Cypress Creek off the Tennessee River, the scenery around the course was gourgeous. Huge clubhouse appears less than 10 years old. Swimming pool, driving range, tennis courts(being refurbished), towering trees, very slick bent-grass greens, and a good contingent of red-tailed hawks around to cheer you on, all made for a perfect day on the links. Maybe the single best value in golf in the entire country!
