Deloain treats his employees like slaves with all the disrespect that he can give.If he has a client that wants something other then what he wants then he puts the client down..He is disrespectful to almost everyone.Hes not professional at all.A person that dont let over weight people work at deloain new york is just not a good person.Deloain thinks he is always rite never wronge.One day carma will come back and kick him in the BUTT..

I went hoping to find a good stylist to shape up my hair. When I walked in I was rushed to a consultation room/color room with 5 other people where the stylist proceeded to tell me that my color was in dire need of recoloring (Base color I might add) and that my hair was in horrible shape. The whole time she had this look of disgust on her face ...

I too did not get what I asked for but instead the head stylist proceeded to tell me what she was doing. I wanted my roots colored, she wanted them to grow out "naturally". Of course I just came home and did it myself. I have been going there for years but always upstairs to the spa, not the hair salon downstairs. I will stay upstairs from now one. Lovely massage, facials, nails, water treatments, etc. Well trained esthicians.

They don't let you actually get what you want. I wanted to go red, but they insisted it would fade and recommended blonde. I said I didn't care about the fading, and I would come back for touch up. But, they still said I needed blonde... I went to Red Jasper, and they were very friendly... I am now a red head!

It is not very welcoming nor prepared to assist male clients with their hair care needs. After leaving, I felt like I was wearing a woman's color and style; both of which I did not intend on receiving. I do not think they are greeted often by the male specimen.

deLoain New York calls itself an upscale salon and day spa. They claim to possess exceptional and even "award winning" stylists. Well, that is the opinion by some people, but here is my personal, true thought on this beauty parlor in southeast Decatur.

Perhaps it is my hair but color does not stay on as long as I would like. A lot of fading in just a short period of time. If it stayed longer then price would not be so bad. Cut and style was fabulous. In/out time was very good. Love Melissa. Can't go wrong with her.
