HATED IT!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/04/08
The small, family-friendly environment would have been nice if it was CLEAN. The bathrooms smelled horrible. The shower stalls were lined with mold and mildew. The wave pool had black spots on the bottom (which I am pretty positive was mold and mildew also) that were SLIMY when I stepped on them. I was SOOOOOOO ready to go. I will NEVER, EVER, ...

NO THANK YOU
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/19/08
I never got a chance to visit the park....the conversation I had on the phone with general management regarding tickets was enough to tell me the park is NOT African American friendly...in fact, the person I spoke with hung up before I finished the conversation...if management is that rude, I can only imagine the staff's attitude...NO THANK YOU!

This place is GREAT!!!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/16/08
This place is great for all ages. You have a wave pool, water slides,a lazy river, and there is a section for the little ones. The only thing you have worry about is the weather.

Poor Management
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/28/08
It's no wonder they are about to go under! Over $20 for 4 slides, a lazy river, and a wavepool. We had season passes that included free drinks; by mid-summer, they quit giving the drinks. This year the season pass is $89.99 each! Professional parks such at Whitewater in Atlanta only charge $59.99 for a season pass. Our corporate group ...

Fun in the Sun!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/21/08
We really like Surfside. My kids got in FREE becasue of there good grades on there report cards and we went after 3 so it was half price for the adults!! What I really liked is I didn't have to worry about keeping up with all of the kids that went! It is small and we could watch everything! There were no big lines or huge crowds. It was easy to find too!!! We went a couple of times and took the church group one time. We will be going again!!!
The park has a wave pool, a kids area, a lazy river, and a structure with several high slides. The images on their website are exactly how it is. Food is available in the park.
There are plenty of chairs. The staff is friendly and helpful. The park has a laid-back, family atmosphere. If you want themed rides or lots of variety in attractions, ...
The price was a little much for 3 attractions. The wavepool, the (4) water tunnels/slides and the relaxing water river. $20 admission, $10 for locker ($5 of which is a refundable deposit), $9 for a chicken sandwich combo and hamburger combo. Food was very resonable and the lines were very, very short. All in all, a very fun day! Will go back!

it's ok, but small
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/10/07
it's a nice place to go for small kids and elderly people. but I wouldn't suggest a younger crowd like teens. It's really small, and they don't have much. But if you want to relax, it's a good place. the lines arn't as long as White Water, and the staff members are pretty nice. I would suggest going to White Water for a younger crowd who is looking for a lot to chose from and a lot of fun.
