SUCKSThis place sucks!! I grew up in Lincoln for 33 years and everyday we struggle to find something to do for kids and adults, and star city shores is not the place!!!! only been there onceThe only time I've been here is when they did a special event for pets on 8/17/08. It looked like a fun place for people too though. My dog had a lot of fun too! Awesome LifeguardsI loved going to the pool and swimming last summer. Star City Shores had crystal clear water and a great staff on hand. It was especially fun for my children who had a blast riding the slides all day. The lifeguards were extremely professional and polite.2 of 2 Yahoo! Great pool!Star City Shores is great for the little ones. It does tend to be quite crowded in the afternoons. If you are looking to avoid the crowds, then come in the evening hours between 5 and 8 pm. Over ratedLast time I was there we discovered feces floating in the pool. The guards "fished it out" and shocked the pool. They did not refund our money as they forced people to stay out for 30 min while the chemical took effect. The guards said and I quote "this happens all the time".2 of 4 Yahoo! a resident's point of viewStar City shores is a very fun park with reasonable prices. They do tend to be very crowded, and when I was younger my mother lost track of me there. The two slides do have long lines, but they move very fast, and although the larger slide (to the left) seems more fun, the shorter one is. Afternoon WELL spent!Very nice place for the little ones with a sand area and small water slide and water structures. Kids REALLY seem to enjoy it!
Very reasonably priced and worth an afternoon of fun for my 3 year old!
