My family and I had a wonderful time at Six Flags KK. We had went there in 2003 and said that we would likely not return. However with the 45th anniversary talk we decided to try it out again. We were amazed at how clean and tidy the park looked. Employees were nicer and more attentive. The prices are steep but they are worth the value, great food, fun, and memories.
I liked this park because the rides are all fun and the park itself is an expirience. some things i didnt like is that the park is a little small compared to the other six flags parks but overall this is still a great place to spend a weekend
We visited the park in Louisville,Ky and was mostly pleased until the rain hit and we unfortunately had to wait it out. We were about to leave when the announcement was made that the rides would be cycled through and reopen soon. Our family of five walked all the way back to twisted twins, which was one of the two rides we did not get to ride, and ...

Out of the three Six Flags parks that I have visited it was best as far as family oriented, shorter wait for rides. The water park was an added bonus!! Can't wait to go back this year!

Great Family Park....needs paint though
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/07/06
My husband and I went on May 5th, a Saturday in the off season. We arrived at the park around 11:39 and were a bit disappointed that a field trip for a bunch of kids was taking place. Overall the park was great. Except there were NO shows scheduled, the staff wasn't very friendly, ( I think the only guy that said hello to us was the man ...
Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom which is located in the heart of Louisville,Kentucky is a great attraction in all of the Southeastern U.S.The rides are awesome and the people who work there has a great attitude towards there guests.I suggest going here with your kids if you like great entertainment.Louisville is greatly knowned for it's hospitality to show it's visitors are great time.
I absolutley loved the entire park. There is a ride for everyone in the family from old to young. It is filled with family fun and my nephews really enjoyed themselves( they are 2 and 6).

Did not feel safe
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/22/05
It is really a good value for the money. But, I did not feel safe on most of the rides. The roller coasters jerk you a lot even though they are not suppose to. Needs to have a lot of work done.
I enjoyed the fact that the Six Flag Staff was really polite. They were readily available to answer any questions. The ride operators were friendly and so were the employees at the restaurants.
I've been to several other Six Flag Parks and haven't always had the same courtesy.
Six flags Kentucky Kingdom was great. Great until they fired half of their staff. None of the concession stands are properly manned. They have one guy running Subway during lunch hour. They must have taken him off of his original Janitorial shift, because the park is such a mess. Their rides are rickety.
