    The Ham House is located in Dubuque, Iowa, where I was born and raised and still live today! It is an awesome place to see, in fact our family goes to the Ice Cream Social held there each July 4th. Come see the Ham House and discover the other attractions of Dubuque, Iowa!

    I am pretty sure that the Mathias Ham House is in Dubuque, IA...NOT Des Moines IA. Considering they are hours away from each other, I think this is a horrible mistake to list it as Des Moines.

    This is a wonderful home that has been lovingly restored to its original splendor. The tour guides were both very friendly and well informed. The grounds have a couple of picnic tables which made for a wonderful setting for our lunch just prior to the tour. There are no photoes allowed inside the house and very few postcards in the gift shop. ...
