Tours are offered free of charge on the 3rd Saturday of every month. Make time and go see this magnificent building but be prepared to look like a kid seeing skyscrapers for the first time. You will walk through this building in awe. Everything from floor to ceiling is amazing. Lots of carved wood and stone and the stained glass is remarkable. You will never see a theater as ornate as the one at the Scottish Rite.

It was amazing,the city itself was very pretty,alot of stonework,I herd that it was home to alot of freemason structures,but I never thought there would be anything like the scottish rite cathedral there! it was stunning,beautiful,it really demands your attention,it looks like something in Europe that was dropped into a midwestern city of mostly 19th century structures.
