I absolutely enjoyed my tour of the engine and car shops. The ride on the Doodle Bug was a real treat for my wife, daughter and mother. The WWR folks were so very nice and went the extra mile to answer questions from the riders. It is a great place to take a family.

The Wilmington & Western Railroad is a wonderful place for a family outing for those young Thomas the Tank Engine fans to anyone just wanting to experience first hand the way railroading was in the 1870's to the 1940's. the railroad was great ...it had trains from a long time ago ..they were fun ..and the sexiest conductor ive ever seen ...!I blow his wistle..i tooted his horn...fun times
