    We took this ride the day before our wedding just about one year ago (December 2007). The ride was great because it was just an hour long and me and my husband had the great opportunity of it just being the two of us with the leader.   • Disappointing Ride at Rancho Oso

    My wife and I visited Rancho Oso for a 3-hr guided trail ride in late June 2004.

    The trail itself afforded beautiful views of the Santa Ynez Valley, but the ride, overall, was disappointing. First, the guide, Devon, was a big disappointment. He seemed to have a contempt for novice riders that made him a poor choice for a guest ranch. ...
