  • Shockingly bad.
    By daisy.rosenblum, 06/04/09
My wonderful husband bought me a gift certificate for this place as a special birthday treat. (He biked there to buy the gift certificate, thirteen miles each way.) When I got there, I got a weird vibe from the massage therapist right away. Anxious, judgemental and distracted. Yes, she namedropped some random stars that I don't care about AND ...

  • Awesome!!!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/08/09
My boyfriend and I just love this place!! We had one of the packages that was on special and it was awesome!! Felt so relaxed and all my knots were gone. Everyone was so professional and kind. The service was excellent and the receptionist accommodated our appointment time request. We really liked how private and beautiful the spa is as well. The rooms are gorgeous. We will definitely go back and refer to others.

  • Very Disturbing Expereince
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/10/08
I have a gift certificate for Sea Spa, I called once and left a message and never got a call back (probably because I mentioned the gift certificate in my message.) I called again a few weeks later and got a person on the phone who told me she had to call me back. She called back and when I mentioned I had a gift certificate she said that this ...

  • Sorry but it's important
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/15/07
As a former client of Sea Spa's, I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. However, I want to offer a friendly critique of your info piece in f.y.i., Inside SB. One cannot be "recognized on" anything. The correct grammar and sytax is "recognized for giving individualized service".Also one cannot "improve upon" their ...

  • Utterly RIDICULOUS
    By soundscapedirect, 02/19/07
The worst experience I've had at a spa. Overpriced and overrated! The manager as she calls herself was a huge nag and tried to sell other treatments while having the message. She wouldn't shut up and I couldn't relax from her constant blabber as she tried to sell me other products she sells. She turned out to be the owner and said she was the manager to get the 20% tip! Biggest car SALESWOMEN I've met! RIPOFF!!

  • Never use the word "exculsive" to explain this spa
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/11/06
"Come and experience Sea Spa and feel like the most pampered person alive!"

Perhaps the owners/employees should re-read their tag line to remind themselves of their purpose. From start to finish, this was the WORST "spa" (and I use the word spa lightly given the proximity of the freeway and petrol station across the street) ...

  • Phoney
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/17/06
I have my connections and have seen first hand what goes on "behind the scenes" The towels that your bare body lies on are not always "fresh." The therapist will put as little energy as possible into the treatment to get it over with for a large profit/ tip. They go on and on about the "stars" that come in...though ...
