The tour is free and very informational. They give you three free samples at the end of the tour. The Tavern at the end is very relaxing and the servers are very helpful. Very worthwhile especially because it is free, so you really don't lose anything by going.
It was a free tour but at the begining you watch a 15min movie (basically a 15 minute miller time commerical). Take a tour of the brewery and enjoy some beer.
If you a beer fanatic check out the Lake Front Brewery. 5 bucks for the tour drink way more beer before during and after the tour. Plus you go home with a nice beer glass for each person. I like the micro brews a lot more then miller beer.
The tour is free and does have a lot of walking. Bring a coat if it's cold out. There are quite a few steps but some are optional. The caves were neat and very nice atmosphere at the sampling bar. A very interesting "Valley". It's a huge place. You get three free large samples and free pop for the kids.
The tour is by far the best thing to do in Milwaukee. First of all it's free, including samples of Miller Beer. It is a walking tour and parts of it are outside so be prepared for that. The best part about the tour overall was the personable and professional guides...they can answer just about any question you have and are pretty good looking. For an extra special experience, ask the tour guide about the bio-retention swale.
Tour starts in gift shop. free tickets. Video presentation. Tour of some of the plant. End in bar for 3 sammples and post card to anywhere in the world. I have been to Milwaukee twice and done the topur twice. Excellent
Start off at the Visitors Center get free tickets for the tour, gotta be 21 to drink, did I mention FREE samples of beer, try 1855 Lager only available at Miller Brewing Co. Watch short presentation, and be ready to walk, walk some more, up down stairs. OK note to anyone who is disabled , my tour experience was shortlived because of handicap ...
