i live right down the street from the thoroughgood house and all around, it is beautiful. the tours are really informative, and they have special events going on all year round. everything is the original, and i cant wait to go back!

I really enjoyed visiting the Thoroughgood House. The grounds are very well kept, the house is in excellent condition for almost 300 years old. The furnishings are originals for the time period and very well made.

i really loved the architecture and the tour guides were hilarious, i thought the house was very interesting, and the history behind it makes the house even more fascinating. Im amazed how old it is! (plus the gift shop had some pretty cool finds...)
overall, i enjoyed learning history a lot more than i thought i would.
everyone should go!
