We had a terrific experience at your course yesterday. Extra friendly staff and service. The course looked great and we found the views just wonderful. Would definitely come back next time we are in Va. Beach.

Previous member of Hell's Point who has watched the continued deterioration of service, course maintenance and thoughtfulness toward customers. Most of the staff is new and don't recognize, nor acknowledge members so the benefits of membership are limited. Was a great course when I joined several years ago - now it is mediocre at best and trying to ride on previous reputation. Lots of better places to play!

Unfortunately, for a very nice course there is an arrogant SOB in the pro shop. Got reprimanded for getting a bite to eat during the turn. I guess this practice isn't allowed at Hell's Point cause it causes the course to slow down? Yet we still finished the round in under 4 hours

While I'm sure there are nice folks that work there, I must say that this is my 3rd experience at this course, and each time the staff in the pro shop has been rude, unpleasant, and arrogant. Not sure why. It's too bad considering it's a nice course.

Would recommend the course if you're able to get on without having to deal with the folks in the pro shop.

Staff was terrific. Course was a great value with great fairway conditions and quick greens. Seems like a nice bunch of members as well. I especially like seeing no homes or neighborhoods through the entire round (OK maybe 1 hole had homes along part of the fairway). Played August 6, 2006 - very friendly atmosphere and staff. Layout is varied and keeps your interest. Fairways were in good shape but the greens were showing some wear from the heat and lack of rain. Overall I found the course to be challenging but very fair. You have to keep the ball in play because the trees are unforgiving.
