I just played Golden Bear last week and I was a little disappointed. I expected it to be in better shape. Don't get me wrong it is still quite nice. But, the green are in poor condition right now and the fairways were just ok. For a public course at a discount rate, I would play it again. But, I would look elsewhere if I were playing for full price.

We liked the experience from the call to the pro shop to the courteous treatment by the entire staff. We were surprised that this course isn't better known and spoken about by the golfing public. I personally feel it is a better golf course than the private club at Indigo Run, that I'd played on another occasion.
