The lines were a bit of a pain, but you have to expect it on a hot, crowded day in the summer. Still ample time to hit all the big rides. Work from the back to the front, take advantage of the 3 hours free the night before. Make sure you get to the waterpark just before they close to lessen the lines but still get it in (waterpark closes early). ...

water park nightmare
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/20/09
The rides at Hershey are great, lots of choices for young and old. The water park is a nightmare. You have to wait in line to get into the wave pool and the splash area. Why? The lifeguards then shut down the splash area and no one could tell us why!?! To leave the area there is one turn stall that you have to go through one at a time. Stampede central and very dangerous!!!
My family and I go to Hershey Park every year and use the coal cracker as our family photo. However, I am sad to say that I believe this year to be the last. The park did away with some great rides to make room for the disasterous waterpark where you have to wait inline to get in even the wave pool. What a nightmare. How on earth do you do ...

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/16/09
After not being to Hershey Park for almost 30 years I could hardly wait to take my twin 5 yo's and my 2 yo. What a disaster. We goy there at noon, left at 8 and got on a total of 6 rides. It was really hot and we did not want to wait in the lines at the regular rides, some of which had over 90 people in front of us, our kids would not have made ...
