This rose garden is one of the best we've ever seen! Beautifully landscaped in terraces overlooking the city, it should not be missed in your trip to Portland. Every plot is labeled, and there is a wonderful gift shop, too. Spectacular!

The roses were absolutely awesome, beautiful, fragrant; I was completely wowed by each and every one!!
I would prefer to pay an entrance fee and be left alone to enjoy the garden, rather than have someone following me around making sure I stuffed all the donation boxes throughout.
to the Japanese gardens. The largest in the US. Just wonderful. A place I visit every time I am in Portland. It is not free but worth every penny. I had never visited one prior to my first trip there. I fell in love right away. Kids will like the koi pond.
This is a amourous, majical, peaceful place. The best part is it's free! The roses not only look beautiful, but they smell beautiful. It makes for a nice romantic spot with the one you love (my husband proposed to me there), or a little walk to spend time with Grandma. My kids love it, too.
