Beautiful place to visit. My boys and I loved it and it is very close to twin lakes park which they loved. They also have an excellent gift shop.

  • Fond memory from childhood
    By OLD, AGING ROCKER, 12/18/07
As a child growing up in Northern Kentucky, my parents would take us to Krohn's Conservatory at least once each year. Most of the time we went at Christmas since the poinsettias were always beautiful and were my mom's favorite. There were four of us children and we each enjoyed the conservatory for different reasons. I enjoyed the flowers, ...

  • 60 years of wonder
    By A Yahoo! Contributer, 10/25/07
My first trip was a field trip in grade school. I've been back scores of times and the place is always more facinating, especially at Christmas. The wonder of the tall trees, the variety, the colors and smells is fantastic for young people and we young at heart.

It's always fun to go in the middle of winter and hear the tropical waterfall and see all the plants. The butterflies are always fun too.

It's cool to watch fish and turtles swimming around in the ...

Take a break from stress and revel in the wonderful plants and trees at Krohn's. It's free and just a hop from Mt. Adams (up the hill), where you can enjoy good eats after basking in the healing power of plants.
