There is so much to do here, no matter what age of child you have there is something for everyone from the exhibits to the hands on science experiments and shows on how to make ice cream from dry ice there is definetly alot. My kids both love the aquariums, and really enjoyed the Dinolsaur exhibit where they were able to be archiologist and dig for ...
We loved going to Discovery Place and seeing the different exhibits. Every exhibit we visited was interactive and was very educational-from the inner workings of the human body to the physics experiments with different light sources, etc. We can't wait to go back to Discovery Place.
Discovery Place is one of the best places for families to go in North Carolina. The kids will love it! Mom and Dad and the Grandparents will, too. What are you waiting for...get going!
The Discovery Place is like a museum and it has all sorts of interesting exhibits like a model of a giant heart and a Volkswagon like the one Steve Urkel drove in Family Matters! This is a nice place to take kids.
What better way to expose young people to science. They think they're having fun, but they are actually learning a thing or two about the physical world.
The discovery place is the best place to take a child to learn facts about many things. They teach things from animals to planets out of space. they have the onmiax theatre also. Its so cool, they place movies that makes u feel as though ur right there in the scene. I highly suggest that anyone with younger children to take them to the Discovery place.
I went with my two kids, ages 4 and 1, and my neice, 8, and nephew, 6. All four of them were entertained the whole 4.5 hours we were there. They had to kick us out!
