We decided on carowinds for our vacation this year. My husband, myself, and our 3 kids(10,8, and 6).We had a great time.
We also bought our tickets online and saved about $50. We were also able to bypass the lines at the gate. For the price the we paid vs. the fun that we had...it was definately worth every penny. Anythime you have a family of 5 ...

Carowinds can be pricey but there is ways to cut the cost.Buy season passes in the spring. It is much cheaper than summer season passes. Another way to save is to buy gate tickets three days in advance over the internet. This is a savings of $10. Buying over the internet will save you money.Food and drinks are way over priced. To save money plan a ...

a disappointing experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/27/08
I've always loved going to this park. But, I'm completely disappointed with Carowinds after a recent visit. The staff is completely rude and arrogant. There’s long waits for every ride without any entertainment or distractions. Ticket prices are ridiculous, especially when considering the amount of money you’ll spend when you ...

What's not to love?
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/25/08
It has great rides for EVERYONE! The food is pricey, but no different than any other theme park. The employees were nice and helpful. I've seen the reviews were people speak of long lines and having to wait, unable to get on rides, but that's to be expected, especially during the summer and scarowinds. Those are the busiest times. Do your ...

Was cool
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/22/08
Me and my friend went and actually had a great time. Three of the roller coasters were not working, that was the worst part. Well the food was expensive (but thats expected at any theme park). We did the bungy jumping thing and it was GREAT. Overall it was a fun park. Would def go again.

Been going since I was a achild

Best thing about Carowinds, is placement of rides. All the lil kids rides are up front (usually the ones most excited), and graduate from there. The different themes from Waynes World, Cartoon Network etc. make for great visual and atmospheric entertainment. I had a knee injury in 1993 and can not bend myh knee, however with rides such as Top Gun ...
