DO NOT MISS an opportunity to dine at this fantastic urban lunch counter. It is as good as it gets for this type of restaurant and the service is friendly as one would expect in the heart of beautiful Summerville. It is also kid friendly, yet sophisticated to the extent that this foodie is never disappointed with the scrumptious variety offered!

Excellent food, service, and environment! My wife had one of the salads - and the greens were SO fresh! I had a sandwich and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The owner even was bringing food to people at their tables .. what a nice guy! The entire staff was so friendly.
We HIGHLY recommend eating here. You definitely get your money's worth!

A little pricey, but the food is excellent. I love the wide range of lunch choices and the combinations of flavors! Fun place to go for lunch when you're in downtown Summerville!

I used to like this little restaurant in the heart of Summerville. The food was great and you got plenty of it. I would always see at least one welcoming smile as I got up to the counter.

An extremely disappointing experience at best, particularly for the high cost of lunch!
The staff was "flaky" during the ordering process (more interested in their friends around).
We received food ... to find it wasn't ours, then waited another 30 minutes for OUR food, which went to someone else.
When we finally received ...

Summerville's best lunch - Eclectic Chef
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/05/06
Named the best lunch counter in the entire lowcountry by the Post and Courier, I feel blessed to have this eatery 2 blocks from my home. The turkey, brie and granny smith apple sandwich is perfect for a picnic. Their brownies are truly to die for. When it's cold out, you can't beat the Frito Pie. The best part, they make gourmet-to-go entrees that you take home, reheat, and convince your husband you cooked! Gotta try it.
