Wow! I'm a south-indian and authentic south indian food only gets this far in the US. The Idlis and Vadas were great and the sambar was made exactly like it would have been made at house holds down south in India. The Avial blew me away and the chutneys were yummy too. ( Only that they were cold - you knew that they were from the freezer. ...

This is a hopeless place to have Indian food. One should really peak in the kitchen and not be srprised to find preprossed food packets from Gits. I recommend this place to people whom I dont like at all.

An Indian buffet at $12 on the weekend. That is a bit too much. The food has been good so far. It is one of the very few South Indian vegetarian restarants in the area. We keep visiting the place, but would more if the price was a bit more reasonable for the buffet like at other restaurants.

I have eaten in atl,nyc,philly,charleston,houston... nothing comes close.

The variety served in the buffet is great. I liked the Dosa's which they make fresh and serve as per your liking. The food is fresh so is the Sambar. I heard that Devi is the only Indian restaurant serving Veg. menu in this area.I highly recommend this food as its very healthy.You will like it guaranteed

I was shocked to hear when my friend said that the sambar make him sick. I am sure they will take this note seriously at Devi and change their thinking and improve on serving fresh food. People like the South Indian idli dosa that's why they come from distant places to eat.

My earnest request to the OWNER. Please serve fresh food for the amount charged. People come to get good veg. food and not stale reheated food.

Only thing wrong is much oriented towards Sambar...i mean Tamil Nadu... atleast concentrate on South Indian style...But its good..Hope they keep good south indian dishes after seeing this message

The food is near perfect. My favorites are the Besi Bele Bhat and Dosas. The sambar which I think is the best indicator of quality of South Indian food is very very good. Spicy food, but that's what I like. So if you don't like it spicy, ask them if they can dial it down.

If you don't care about the decor, this place is great to have authentic south indian food. They have buffet during nights as well & cost is comparable to most places ~ $10/person
