Super food. It is a Szechuan style food restuarant. So if you do not like spicy food, chances are you will not enjoy as much. Try all the traditional Szechuan dish, you will see that it is on par with best in New York. If you do not like spicy food, their duck and beef with mushroom and bamboo are two of my favorites. We have brought many friends and relatives, all gave very good review.

Slow service, lukewarm food
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/24/06
Based on other ratings, we decided to try it. Staff was friendly and pleasant, yet service was extremely slow. Tea and subsequent food was barely warm, and we were left with used plates throughout meal. The food itself was well prepared and good, but the overall experience dragged it down. I would not return again.
I love China Chalet! I live in Scotch Plans, yet we drive here often because the food is THAT good. Their Chicken w/Garlic Sauce is the best I've had-not at all heavy on the sauce and full of flavor. Ditto on the 3 Pepper Chicken-as spicy as you ask for it (which is a rarity, unfortunately) and totally tasty. I've never had one bad item ...

As good as it gets!

Great new upscale chinese restaurant. Menu choices were incredible that included new original dishes and classic favorites. An array of fresh seafood, such as razor clams in a pesto sauce. I suggest the the sichuan spicy wontons for an appetizer and the chilean sea bass for dinner. You won't be sorry. Ask for suggestions it helps too!
