The ice cream was very good. I will try a sandwich the next time I visit, it all looked good. The decore of the place is hilarious, all cows. Loved the model train going around the ceiling of the store. I think I saw a playground area for children.

My husband and I took a 4 day vacation to tour the beautiful city of New Bern and we visited your cafe three times during our stay! We are looking forward to visiting again with our daughter, just to let her experience your wonderful food, entertainment(cowaoke), and your mouthwatering homemade icecream! Living three hours away, can't stop us from visiting. You will be seeing us soon!

Greatest ice cream you can get at an affordable price

Tried it this weekend. Had the Cheesteak Moobern which was really good - the bread was excellent. The pumpkin pie icecream was great - tasted just like pumpkin pie with icecream on top. We will go back.

Read review on Yahoo - so stopped in on the way to the beach. Tried the "Oinking Island Cow" sandwich which was really good - but my favorite part of my meal was the ice cream! The Mooberry Mousse ice cream was white chocolate ice cream with raspberry swirls and chocolate raspberry cups - it was the best I have ever eaten. We even had them pack up a quart for us to take to the beach! Defintely try it out.

You MUST try the Cow Cafe! My family goes everytime we are in New Bern or heading to the coast. The food is wonderful and the icecream is amazing - our favorites are the key lime pie icecream and the mint chocolate chip. There is a great room "barnyard" in the back of the restaurant that is perfect for kids. Definitely try this place!

A good variety of sandwiches and salads, wonderful ice cream made homeade at restaurant - great place for kids and parties, but, also great for adults, a fun place to eat - a must if you are in New Bern or on your way to the coast.
