    We would highly recommend this motel. The rooms are clean, the staff is very helpful and quick. The beach is accross the street and very child friendly and when you've had enough of the beach the pool at the motel is a great place to cool off.

  • Our new annual vacation spot

    Awesome location; within walking distance of beach and beaches are not very crowded. Within 10 minute drive of Rehoboth boardwalk but parking is tough up there. Quiet area with not a lot of nightlife immediately close, but not far away either. Fun bar/restaurant w/ very good food right next to it- good for the 21+ crowd, but this hotel is ...

    Located in the heart of Dewey Beach it is surrounded by all kinds of shops and restaurants. Park your car and enjoy your stay.

    Very nice service, pretty clean, excellent location, alright values. The room service could try to pick better times to clean the room and could check better to see if we still have enough towls and everything. The pool's not too great. Also, they should add something there. Something that would make the place more useful and fun.

  • Will Stay there EVERY year!

    We stayed at Southwinds in June 2004 for 5 days/4 nights and got an excellent rate...a steal really! We got a large room facing the main highway and ocean. Comfortable bed, super, super clean room. It looked brand new! Friendly staff, nice pool. I can go on and on. I plan to stay at Southwinds every summer until I can afford my own beachhouse, and then I'll send all my extra houseguests there to stay. My highest recommendations!
