This was advertised as " see sunken ships, sea life, etc.". Mostly we saw lots of sandy bottom, few fish and spent lots of time just turning the sub so the other side could see. If you want to say you went 100 ft. down on a sub, go for it. But you'll have a better time and see more on the sub at Disneyland than you will on the one in Honolulu. For the price we were sadly disappointed. But the crew was great, I'll give them that.

What a Beautiful Day!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/18/07
All staff on board the taxi and the sub were very upbeat and friendly. My son and I had a blast and I would love to take the entire family aboard the submarine! We saw so many schools of fish and the water was so amazing that day!
Just got back yesterday! We liked this alot. The people who worked for the sub told lots of jokes and made everyone laugh. It takes you down over 130 feet. There were plenty of fish to see.
Fun to go out on and under the ocean - hadn't been on a sub before! Interesting craft, crew was very friendly and "silly" with their wit. Fun to see what the bottom looks like at 133 feet with the schools of fish, coral - - -
Even so, it seemed limited in it's scope of travel (how far can you go at 2.5 knots?) and a somewhat limited variety of sea bottom viewing.
This is only a 45 minute dive into the ocean bottom. Not worth the price. Don't remember how much it was since we got it in a package but you have a better experience at the Maui Ocean Center for way less!!
