After seeing all the sugar cane fields being burned, i wanted to know why. That lead me to the Sugar Cane Museum which is located across from the sugar refinery plant. It was very interesting to see the different displays of how workers dressed,their work schedules and pay. If you like sugar, you'll love to see what happens to it before you buy it from the market.

We stopped at the museum, thinking it "couldn't be much", but thought we might as well see what it had to offer. Although slightly confused by the entry to the displays, we found many interesting historical offerings, including a huge, hand-sewn flag. How tedious that must have been to make, and imagine the dedication it took to DO ...
