We could see the sleeping giant from the helicopter tour that we took in Kauai. His head is makai (ocean) and his feet point mauka (inland). (use your imagination, i could see it but my husband couldnt!!!) Looks like he still has a full belly so he wont be waking up soon! We didnt hike it, but if we get time to go back to Kauai, we probably will for the excellent views of the island!
