At Cong Xa Paris (Paris Commune) Square in the center of HCM City is Notre Dame Cathedral, with a statue of the Virgin Mary, Queen of Peace, in the park in front. On its right are one-story villas used by the International Medical Center and some buildings of three to four stories, and on the left is the Central Post Office.
Notre Dame Cathedral is a very beutiful place to go. I visited there once but unfortunately the Cathedral was closed. Talk about right timing... hahaha... But the structure/architecture itself of the outside is magnificient. Plus with the colourful garden landscape with the statue of Madonna, it's a place that you should go.
