You have to visit, if only for the experience of the Museum and mausoleum. We took a tour of the city and tickets were included in the price. The museum itself was crowded with lots of locals, but we still managed to enjoy the exhibits - most interesting things are on 2nd floor. Also enjoyed touring the grounds were Ho Chi Minh lived. Kids really liked the fish pond and learned a lot about history. Be prepared for crowds.

I went there out of curiosity. Upon entering ther museum guess what? I'm the only visitor inside. The display there is rather ok but the information on the items are about 85 - 90% in Vietnamese. Well, I don't understand the language so by looking at the items is just like watching a movie without subtitle and audio. I was there about 30 minutes only. I left because it's a bit bored and nothing that capture my attention there.
