You have to visit, if only for the experience of the Museum and mausoleum. We took a tour of the city and tickets were included in the price. The museum itself was crowded with lots of locals, but we still managed to enjoy the exhibits - most interesting things are on 2nd floor. Also enjoyed touring the grounds were Ho Chi Minh lived. Kids really liked the fish pond and learned a lot about history. Be prepared for crowds.
