This is a lovely stop and not to be missed. Hoian is full of great shopping, a nearby beach, and lots of things to do and see. We almost made a mistake and booked just one day here originally. After getting some local advice, we changed our plans to stay 3 days and wished we had stayed even longer. Although the weather was up and down, we still had a great time and great memories to take back home.
The food portion was very small and the bill for 5 people was over $USD 700. The restaurant service was ordinary and this was the definite tourist trap.
it is a place where i lives and i am very love it,because it is historical and beautiful, have uou ever made a trip to HOI An,you will be suprised all you will be seen
food is ok, small portion. Service is good (it better be for what you pay for) Pricing is so high you thought you are back in US with 5 start restaurant. I would not recommand this restaurant due to the high price the the food is not good. But if you don't care about that then go for the atmosphere. That's all it good for.

My husband and I dined at Hoi An Restaurant, Ho Chi Minh City on the New Year's Eve 2007 and had an unforgettable experience. Food was very palatable and beautifully presented. Could not fault the service. It was excellent.
The meal together with a glass of champagne cost around fifty US dollars per head and was worth every cent.
The best way to enjoy this upscale restaurant serving delicious Vietnamese food is to go in a group so you can share and sample the many outstanding dishes. Dark-wood furnishings fill the dining room. The Hoi An's sister restaurant, the Mandarin, serves slightly less impressive and less …
The former harbour town of the Champa people at the estuary of the Thu Bon river was an important trading centre in the 16th and 17th centuries, where Chinese from various provinces as well as Japanese, Dutch and Indians settled down. During this period of the China trade, the town was called Hai Pho (Seaside Town), during the French occupation. ...
Have been to Hoi An for many many times that I can even count myself, Hoi An has been my favorite place to travel since it is not far from my hometown, just cost about half an hour driving. The food, the scene, everything is more than wonderful ... I love Hoi An's resorts, which is located in Cua Dai beach, also about 20 mins driving from the ancient town. Love it!
I enjoyed this small town in the second coming. It's great! There r everything here, in a short distance: nice beach, old Chinatown with high architecture value, a peaceful river along with beautiful restaurants and hotels. u bath in nature w all of yr joys.Chi ma phu (black sesame sweet soup) is a special desert that makes u happy and vitality, sold by only the 90 yr old man.
