I have dined three times at Camargue over the last three years (including Xmas dinner with a group of nine friends in 2005) and have found it to be consistently excellent. It's not cheap by Vietnamese standards but I have never been disappointed by the quality of the food or the standard of service.

The restaurant is in a beautiful colonial setting, but that in no way makes up for the terrible service and mediocre food. The host and server were disinterested, bordering on rude. Very Overpriced. Very Over-rated.
Finished dinner and went elsewhere for dessert and coffee.

A breath of fresh air in busy, hot HCMC. We'll go a second time on our 4th trip to Vietnam in December 2005.
