  • great trip
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/24/07
I thought Merida was a great relief from the humidity of the coastal highway route to get there. Teleferico was what you expect- a great trip. alert: It's 15,000 feet at the top so take cold weather gear- it's a glacier at the top! NO sandals/shorts..this is serious elevation!!

  • longest and highest cable car in the world
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/12/06
Today we are going to the Teleferico. This is the longest (12.5 kilometres) and highest (reaching 4765 meters above sea level) cable car in the world.

Today we are going to Parque Los Chorros. Parque Los Chorros has 4.5 hectares of lively nature including the only natural waterfall in a capital city park.

  • A wonderful experience
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/16/05
It`s a unique experience travelling in the largest and highest cable car in the world. I recommend to make a previous reservation and not make the everyday`s long lines.
