Beautiful restaurant with a great view over the Avon.
We picked banquet for two priced at £25 per head, Starters were a perfect mix including flat chicken on a skewer which tasted of coconut plus gorgeous hot & sour soup & a good selection of mains (beef I would highly recommend this restaurant although it is expensive (the view makes up ...

Not great food - a lot of the dishes were more Chinese than Thai, for example crispy duck and pancakes, and sweet and sour vegetables in a thick orange sauce typical of a Western Chinese restaurant.
Completely lacked the freshness the typifies good Thai food, and the ingredients weren't right either; for example they'd hadn't used ...

A Thai experience to remember
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/03/07
We went to Thailand in 2002 and really fell in love with Thai food. Since then we have eaten at a number of different Thai restaurants in England but this one beats all of them put together. It was definately the best we have ever eaten and we will go back very soon. We would most certainly recommend it and if you like Thai food DO NOT MISS IT!

Best thai tomyam and massaman curry
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/12/07
I miss home cooking especially from south east asia(malaysia), and when i went to Stratford, the first place i wanted to go is Thai Boathouse. I found a good remark from my collegue at the office who's a regular over there. So went there, and order single menu but then later appologize to the waiter if we could have the set menu seeing ...
A beautiful restaurant on the side of the Avon river. The owners proclaim it to be "the best Thai restaurant in the World". I'm not sure about that, be we definately enjoy ourselves every time we visit. All of the dishes are great, but the Lamb Massaman is a must!! Great value too.

SUPERB THAI
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/07/05
By far, the best meal I've ever had. The 'Moo Yang' is marinated pork grilled over charcoal, sliced and served on a sizzling dish with curry sauce. Unlike the normal type of 'curry sauce', this is a rich, creamy taste sensation which I'll not forget. Served with the garlic 'sticky rice' just made it even beter. SUPERB SUPERB SUPERB.
