If you go with children, make sure to ask about the Fitz Family Kits. They are portable boxes with things to hunt for in the galleries. My 6 year old loved them, and we went through all 5 of their different kits on different days. (We were Americans in Cambridge for 2 months.)
A woman in the cafe (Alex? Alice?) was also very nice and remembered my son every time we came in.
