I have been going to the Royal Waton for the past 17 years. Since about 1990, during that time it has changes a lot in decor, however the food has always been consistently excellent. This is without a doubt the best balti I have had. I have no hesitation in recommending it. 10 out of 10 for starters, baltis and bread. The giant naans have to be seen to be believed. Enjoy.

The emphasis at this place is entirely on the food which is excellent. It is fair to say the surroundings aren't pretty and the toilets are best kept a no-go area but the food is beyond criticism. Both starters and baltis are fantastic and great value. This is my favourite curry restaurant in the whole of the UK. When in Birmingham this is the only restaurant I go to.
