The Grass Skirt was by far the best food we had on Oahu. We had the Ahi platter and BBQ pork. The Ahi was the best fish I've ever had and the pork had so much flavor. To top it off you received alot of food for the little you paid. I highly recommend The Grass Skirt if you go to the North Shore.

OMG! This little place has the best Shrimp Scampi I have ever had. An absolute gem, a little off the beaten path but fantastic just the same. The Hebi/ono are incredibly fresh. The place is small friendly and delicious! It's a must if you are heading to the north shore of Oahu!

Whenever anyone says they want to go to Dukes, I say don't waste your money. The Grass Skirt Grill has the best ono and opa I've ever had. Excellent portabello burger!!

Great place to stop for a quick lunch! The food was excellent...very, very good value for the money paid. The Hebei plate was every bit as good as restaurants charging $30 per plate but the price is only $12.95. I highly recommend the plate lunch for a very healthy alternative to the typical American burger or hot dog. Now...if only they would ...

I have been coming to Hawaii for many years and each time a visit to the North Shore.Each trip we try to eat at many different types of restaurants as possible.Without question this restaurant is not only the best value by far but you will find its the best quality and freshness you will find on Oahu.If it only had a tiki bar and a ocean view....

Favorite lunch and early evening stop. excellent food and good portions. small sitting area inside and outside. worth the stop. preferable food to other Haleiwa eateries. Better tha Kau Aina, home of grease burger.
