I have been ther recently, and it was awful in the past, we (my family and I) went there for the animals, but more for the slush puppies. Now that is GOOD.

Most of the animals have moved, and they don't tell you where they are, also the Zoovernire shop (a shop were you can buy souvenirs)were CLOSED the whole day.

The Pretoria is absolutey my family's favourite place to visit. The place and animals are looked after extremely well. Ever so often the zoo is improved on and expanding. My son definetly does not get enough of the zoo. A day and money well spent. Fun for the whole family

The zoo is superb. Big with lots of different animals. Good for kids and for adults too. Great lawns for picnic. Love the bird eye view from the cable car. Great place for a family outing

It's always great going here - just bring good walking shoes otherwise your feet will suffer!!!
There's loads to see - and they are busy with a lot of additions at the moment.

What i like is that in Pritoria zoo is they do take care of our animals and they dont let anyone of us to take food and give to animals unless if it is only the staff .

Pretoria is a very big city with many jobs,hotels and many more entertainment places. It has many sub-cities,which means that it is a real mother city of GAUTENG and the father of SOUTH AFRICA.
