Jack Seale drugs the animals he uses in television commercials. What look like friendly, cooperating animals are actually scared stiff, well beaten animals drugged up to their eyeballs hardly able to balance. Unruly animals are beaten with sticks out of view of the public. Chimps are routinely shot at with dustshot to get them to cooperate. Animals are traded in cramped boots of cars. The Zoo is good - the owner is bad, dangerous and greedy.

i have been going there for many many years, and yes the animals are cramped up and the cages stink,lets help them, insted of shutting down the zoo,and removing all the animals that was born there,lets help Jack Seal to revamp the place, like giving donations,if enybody powerfull enough can help me and all the animals please let me know at

I didn't like anything about this disgusting excuse for an animal park! I am reporting these people and getting together as many people as possible to close down JACK SEALE! He should be locked up in a cage without water: the way he's treating those animals right now! And shame on you people for supporting him! You're just as sick and twisted as him!!!

I have been to the dam like, a gizillion times with my uncle.
Once to the snake and animal park, it is smaller than the Pretoria Zoo, but I know it is worth every cent (or rand)

all the animals because most of the animals we do not see every day the children will enjoy it alot and i love the tigers and the where the best to see. there is also a big lion and all the different birds please go and see the place. you need to see the place because words can not say must because if i can have my way i will be there every weekend keep up the good work

Great to go for a Sunday outing if you live in the area. Great variety of snakes and other animals. The Atmosphere is great and one feels like one is on Holiday.

We went there a couple of weeks ago, and just relaxed. Had lunch in one of the countless eateries, followed by a day at the snake and animal park. I am not a fan of zoo's but this was quite okay. Great place for boat rides etc. Definitely recommended for the family!

although there's lots to see; the animals are cramped up in undersized cages & i cannot help but feel sorry for the poor critters.
at least none of the animals seem too run-down...
seeing the seals - great stuff!
and any reptile lover would enjoy the trip.
