Walking through Santa Catalina Convent gives you the feeling of "I never ever want to leave here!" It's such a beautiful and serene place that although it's been nearly 3 years since I traveled there, I still think of it regularly.

Definitely worth the money! And do NOT forget your camera!

one of the nicest places in town, very charming, colourful and interesting. The Convento de Santa Catalina in Arequipa is like a "town" in the town. Very clean and nice.
Historical reminder of a way of life that has mostly disappeared. Great place for pictures. Make sure to hire a guide for the minute details.

The professional maintenance of the Convent: paintings, walls, gardens, rooms and the quality of the bilingual guides and management, offer the visitor a very good idea of Life in the Convent. Great place for group meetings, cocktails and meals. Unique facility for weddings. Evening tours are available for small and large groups.
